Variants: sizes and colors

How it works

Each variant is a separate product with its own price, photos and SKU. Variants are joined into a group, and buyers switch between them on the product page. One product in the group is the main one.

Create variants

   Save the product

   Variants are added to a product that has already been saved.

   Prepare an option

   You need an attribute of type “List” or “Color” — for example, “Size” or “Color”. If you don’t have one yet, add a ready-made one to the product: “Attribute” → “Color” or “Size”.

   Pick the values

   In the “Variants” block click “Add variants”. Pick up to three options and the values you need, then say which value the current product has.

   Create and adjust

   The new products copy the price, description, photos, categories and attributes. Then edit each one on its own — a different price or photos, say.

Handy actions

• “Add existing product” — turn a product that’s already in the catalog into a variant.
• “Apply to group…” — copy the price, description, photos or other fields to every variant at once.
• “Make main” and “Remove from group” — in each variant’s menu.
